Under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW), you have the right to know the information that RailCorp collects about users of its website, the purpose for which the information is collected, how the information is used and to whom, if anyone, the information is to be disclosed.

RailCorp maintains site visit data to help us improve our site and provide better train services. When you access the RailCorp website, RailCorp logs your IP address (which indicates the location of your computer on the internet), the date and time of your visit and the pages accessed. RailCorp may also perform analysis of the user behaviour of its website in order to measure interest in various areas of the website. RailCorp does not identify public users or their browsing activites.

Feedback
If you submit a website feedback form, the details that you submit to RailCorp will be securely stored and used for the purpose of improving the RailCorp website and services. Any complaints submitted via this website will be forwarded to the Transport Infoline (131 500).
